Kai Tse serves as as Managing Director overseeing the company’s Early Stage Group, bringing expertise in investment analysis, corporate finance, business development, and strategy and consulting. He has a wide array of experience across many sectors of technology including software, hardware, enterprise applications, and infrastructure.

Prior to TriplePoint, Mr. Tse was a Principal at Osprey & GKM Ventures, two information technology-focused venture capital firms. While at Osprey & GKM Ventures, he managed investments ranging from $2 million to $5 million, and acted as a portfolio manager for Osprey Venture Funds.

Prior to Osprey, Mr. Tse was an Associate in sales, operations, and business development for Vcapital, an Internet-based marketplace start-up providing capital and business services to entrepreneurs.

Mr. Tse worked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in various capacities, including leading a key market penetration advisory engagement on the medical equipment leasing industry for a large Fortune 1000 financial services company.

Mr. Tse holds an M.B.A. from the U.C. Berkeley Haas School of Business, and holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois.
